Glass fiber twisted yarn

Glass fiber twisted yarn is a semi-finished product made from medium alkali free glass balls as raw materials, using crucible type wire drawing technology. After heating the glass balls to a sufficiently high temperature and melting them, the glass fibers of different specifications are drawn through a platinum rhodium alloy leakage plate, and then twisted through winding. Its properties and uses are very extensive, with a fineness of 11 μ M-13 μ m. The product is as fine as silk, as soft as cotton, with strong tensile resistance, silver white color, non-toxic and odorless, acid and alkali resistant, corrosion resistant, high temperature resistant, and good insulation performance. It is widely used in building materials, petroleum, and chemical insulation materials, especially as the main material for making fiberglass.

Application field:

Glass fiber yarn is mainly used as electrical insulation materials, industrial filtration materials, anti-corrosion, moisture-proof, heat insulation, sound insulation, shock absorption materials, can also be used as reinforcement materials, the use of glass fiber yarn is far more extensive than other types of fiber, used to manufacture reinforced plastics, glass fiber yarn or reinforced rubber, reinforced gypsum and reinforced cement and other products. Glass fiber yarn with organic material coated glass fiber can improve its flexibility, used to make packaging cloth, window screen, wall cloth, covering cloth, protective clothing and electric insulation, sound insulation material.

C-glass fiber yarn: mainly used for weaving wall mesh cloth, grinding wheel reinforced mesh cloth, glass fiber filter cloth.

E- glass fiber yarn: mainly used for insulation, corrosion resistance, heat insulation and other purposes of textile, as well as for silk-covered wire insulation winding.
