On October 14, 2024, the European Commission issued a notice, making an initial anti-dumping ruling on Glass Fiber Yarns originating in China on October 11, 2024. The preliminary ruling was that Henan Guangyuan New Material Co., Ltd. had a temporary anti-dumping duty of 26.3% and other companies had a temporary anti-dumping duty of 56.1%. The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes for the products involved are ex 7019 13 00 and 7019 19 00 (TARIC codes 7019 13 00 10, 7019 13 00 15, 7019 13 00 20, 7019 13 00 25, 7019 13 00 30, 7019 13 00 50, 7019 13 00 87, 7019 13 00 94, 7019 19 00 30, and 7019 19 00 85). The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2020 to the end of the dumping investigation period. The measures will take effect from the day after the announcement and are valid for 6 months.

Stakeholders should submit a hearing application within 5 natural days from the day after the announcement is released, and provide case review opinions within 15 natural days.
